To maximize the display life of your Christmas tree we offer the following recommendations:
If you are storing your tree outside before you bring it indoors, stand it in a cool dry place out of the sun and wind with the cut base in water
When you decide to bring the tree indoors, cut 25mm/1" off the base of the tree, this allows the tree to draw up water more easily prolonging needle retension.
We highly recommend that you use a tree stand that holds water and that you check the level daily. Your tree requires a constant supply of water similar to cut flowers to maximise thir display time.
Avoid locating the tree next to direct heat sources such as radiators. *Note* Underfloor Heating can reduce the display life of the tree and we do not recommend you place your tree on these surfaces.
